Anyway, here it is ^__^ ....... wall of text warning, though:

Aiden Alistair

Personality:

Outgoing, cheerful with a 'live for the day' attitude. Up for adventure due to his constant travelling with his pokemon. His sunny outlook belies the sorrow and pain he has in his heart however. He looks out for those he cares for and won't hesitate to lend a helping hand. Quite laid back too and is walks slowly. Almost rarely loses his cool, even in battle, however, if someone steals his locket and rings, he'll be extremely pissed off and will do what it takes to get them back.

History:

Aiden Alistair's real name is Aiden Rune. He was born in Saffron City, Kanto and was raised primarily by his grandmother in one of the apartments there. His family was quite well-to-do and he lived quite comfortably. Sadly, the dark side of his family was that his parents were secretly both members of Team Rocket, each an Executive. Thankfully, both his parents spent much of their time working and Aiden's grandmother had no idea that his parents were Rockets, so she raised Aiden with the proper showing of love and care to pokemon as well as life values.

When Aiden was 10, things change after the death of his beloved grandmother. His parents decided that he was old enough to join in Team Rocket, and forced him and his Eevee into it. Because of his upbringing which was to show love and care to his pokemon, it was difficult for him to understand and carry out certain duties as a Rocket. Eventhough his parents were Executives, he was under threat of losing his Eevee if he did not carry out the missions given to him. He grew to hate Rocket as time passed by but didn't have the chance to leave.

It was three years later when Aiden got the opportunity to make a break from Rocket, during a heist on a pokemon collector's mansion. It was originally suppose to be a silent operation but faulty planning by his team's leader caused the mission to escalate into an intense fight. During part of this fight, the serious opponent was a Riolu, one of the collector's pokemon and it was getting badly injured by being ruthlessly ganged by Aiden's teammates. He made a decision to save the Riolu and attacked his teammates, taking them by surprise, grabbing the Riolu and fleeing the scene. From that time on, Aiden keep wandering, going as far a way as possible from Saffron, his parents and Team Rocket. He keeps this part of his past a secret, though, in fear that people would snub him and also he doesn't want to get detected by the organization again.

After months of traveling and trying to get his senses together (whilst attempting to befriend the Riolu), he stumbled upon New Bark Town, Johto, half dead from exhaustion. He was found by a young girl, Elvire, and her father, Ryker, who took him into their home and looked after him. Aiden had been meaning to leave their home since it didn't feel like for him to stay too long but he seemed to like the peaceful atmosphere in the quiet town. Ryker, a hardy trainer, took Aiden as his apprentice and taught him about strategy battles. Despite having a place to stay, Aiden had to earn his keep by working various jobs in the town, making him quite used to taking up any kind of work.

Aiden got extremely close bond with Elvire, who was roughly three years younger. Unfortunely, she had a hereditary illness that shortened her life span and weakens her body as time passed by. He loved her a great deal and wanted her to have a fulfilled life while she was still there, so, when he was 21, he asked for her hand in marriage. She was hesitant to accept it as he would be widowed early in life, but Aiden's persuading wooed her and she accepted... Though, Aiden had to go through a challenge issued by Ryker in order to really marry Elvire. The old man didn't give Aiden any chance to be lax or inattentive, showing Aiden that he really fully intended to throttle him if Aiden gave him the chance.

It was the toughest and scariest battle for Aiden but he won in the end, barely, and got to marry Elvire. They were married for a bit more than a year and had a daughter together. But things started looking bleak when Aiden was 23, in which his wife's condition started deteriorating rapidly. Doctors tried what they could but she was only slipping away as this illness was rare and cures were not available for it. All Aiden could do was just be by Elvire's side and painfully watched as he slowly lost her. After the funeral, Aiden went into deep mourning and almost seemed to be losing his grip on life itself. At this time, his pokemon decided that enough was enough and his Lucario took up the responsibility to beat some sense into him, literally.

Eventually, with the help of his family and pokemon, he managed to pull himself out of the depression, at least from what it looks on the outside. Inside, he still felt the pain and anguish of losing his spouse. Ryker suggested that he take a trip and travel to clear his mind, though Aiden was reluctant to leave behind his daughter. Ryker insisted that it's best and will care for his granddaughter and so, Aiden left New Bark Town with his pokemon, periodically returning to visit his daughter.

Due to being out of the spotlight, he had decided to join UBF but he couldn't make it in time, but he heard of the Helios Conference and decided to give that a go, hoping to have a chance to battle some of the people he met along the way.


Pokemon Info:


Flare/ Flareon:

Aiden's first pokemon, a gift from his parents when he was eight years old. Given his parents' shady occupation, it is highly doubtful that Flare was a legally obtained pokemon. Anyway, to put legality aside, Flare is very attached to Aiden, being with him through thick and thin, especially during the hardship while in Team Rocket. She is quite a stubborn character and won't back down from fights unless it's on Aiden's order. Has a tendency to quarrel with Lucas on the matter of leadership, since Aiden did not set who was leader in his team of pokemon and Flare thinks that it should be her for being his first pokemon.

Lucas/ Lucario

The injured Riolu that grew to be Aiden's most reliable heavy hitter on the team. Lucas was one of the pokemon owned by a collector and spent much of his time in his pokeball, therefore, when Aiden 'saved-abducted' him, he was somewhat happen to be able to leave such a cooped up surrounding. Still, it took quite a while before Lucas warmed up to Aiden since he was a former Rocket. Lucas has a serious personality and rarely shows out any affections to anyone, even Aiden, though he does appear to be gentler around children and baby pokemon. Can also be quite competitive and tends to look for pokemon to fight with, subtly wanting to provoke a clash. Aiden however, tends to stop him before he does cause a fight. Power fight with Flare on leadership often, thinking he should be leader because Aiden frequently uses him in battle.

Dasher/ Rapidash

Dasher was caught by Aiden as a Ponyta after he arrived on the Johto region and was out on apprentice travel with Ryker. Dasher loves to run as much as all the other Rapidash do and acts as Aiden's main transportation on land, since the man's not much of an athlete and can take ages to travel if he walked. Is quite the calm, happy pokemon in the team and prefers to just stay and watch while others play, unless if it's a race game or if he is being invited to play too. Can be a bit too curious and once attempted to to walk on a frozen pond, though was stopped by Aiden.

Mili/ Milotic
The pokemon that took Aiden quite a while to catch, ending up with him camping in the Sinnoh mountains for more than a week trying to fish. He was almost about to give up when at the last moment, he brought out of the water, a Feebas. Ryker seemed a little disappointed when Aiden returned with the Feebas, hoping he would have failed in the task. Aiden raised Mili as carefully as possible since she seemed to have self-esteem problems. With his help, she managed to get over it and grew into a beautiful Milotic. Mili is generally a calm pokemon, though is a little prone to being playful too, especially when around Dasher and Lucas. Loves to drift quietly in ponds. Would like it better if Aiden entered a contest with her, but he hasn't gotten around to it yet.

Fleur/ Flaaffy

Fleur was a Mareep that got rather attached to Aiden when he was helping looking after pokemon in a small breeding centre. It seemed like Fleur's trainer didn't wish to take her in after she was born and she remained in the centre since then. He found out about this later on and decided that he would take her as his own pokemon. She has a rather sassy-coy personality and is quite friendly. Naturally seems attracted to other electric pokemon. When out of pokeball, she would be clinging onto Aiden's leg. Also, does not want to evolve because she fears to lose her fluff.

Furie/ Furret

The most babied pokemon in his team, Furie was an egg that belonged to his wife and she passed it on to him to look after it as she was near the extremity of her illness. Because of this, Aiden very much looks after Furie with all the care he can muster and very much lets her do as she pleases. Furie reminds him much of his own daughter and is grateful for Furie's constant company on his travels. Furie loves nothing more than to be around Aiden and is constantly wrapped around his neck, arm and even on his head like a turban. Is very friendly towards other people and pokemon and would jump on them for a cuddle. Despite her baby nature, she is quite tough but if someone or something makes her upset, she would cry out with her Hyper Voice, which is the reason why Aiden has ear plugs at ready at all times. Furie is closest to Lucas since both of them are generally out of their pokeballs and Lucas is kinder to young pokemon.


Additional info:

- Does not have any flying pokemon because he's afraid of heights.

- Can play the violin, bamboo flute and piano quite well, though improvises melodies a lot which doesn't make him a good accompanist.

- He rarely shows off the pain in his heart obviously but when in his music playing, it is very visible to all how much he is still in grief. Can only play sad melodies due to his sorrow.

- Gets agitated when someone mentions Team Rocket.

- Regularly spars with his Lucario, so he's actually quite good at hand-to-hand combat and self defense.

- Has some knowledge of safe-cracking, pick-pocketing, breaking into homes, information gathering and disguising due to training by his Rocket parents. Don't worry, though, he's into honest business now after leaving TR.

- Has two left feet and cannot dance, period.

- His father-in-law, Ryker, is the only man he is visibly and painfully terrified of.

- Has a three year old daughter named Emina.

- Is still very much in love with his dearly departed wife, Elvire.

- Has a Rocket tattoo on the upper left arm, which he scarred after he left TR, though it is still somewhat visible which is why he bandages that area always. Uses excuse that it was bandages from sparring.

- Most notable feature of him is his somewhat piercing green eyes.
